If you are not drinking enough water, you will be dehydrated. Dehydration will result in muscle tightness and weakness. You may also experience nausea, lightheadedness, and aches, which can negatively affect your fitness routine, make exercises less enjoyable, or even force you to stop for some period of time. So, before, during, and after your workout, you must always consume water consistently.
Forcing yourself to continue
There are times when your body will give you signals to stop exercising. Due to your commitment to the routine, you may fail to heed and continue the exercise. While you may feel as if you have pushed the limit, you are only sabotaging your ability to accomplish your overall goals. By forcing yourself to continue exercising when your body is telling you otherwise, you are only increasing the chances of an injury.
